This Tuesday, Moon Monkey is going on a “Cliff Gazing” experience in Tannourine El Faouqa.
About the village
Tannourine el Faouqa (1400m-1700m), is the highest part of Tannourine. It’s 85 km away from Beirut, 32 km away from Batroun (42 min).
About the trail
The hike is a loop. It will start at “Al Jawar”, up to “Shir Al Ribezeh”, then down to “Ain el Raha” valley where we can take a glance at Tannourine Cedars Reserve, cross the mountain stream and hike by the riverside. After that we will reach the LMT trail, hike up “Ornet Ghaymoun”, balance by the ridge cliff and finally reach the starting point.

We go together by cars. We can share each other’s cars, so carpooling is an option.
